Tigger
We lost Tigger earlier this week. She lived with us eight years. Although she is gone, she will always live in our hearts. We first met Tigger when Seamus wandered off with another dog at the deer camp. Tigger just wandered up and began to roll onto her back showing off her stomach for petting.
We decided to keep her but were not going home immediately. When we went hunting we stuck her in our trailer. (We were using it for storage.) She did not like being left alone so she proceeded to climb the curtains. When we got back, the trailer was trashed! She also tore up the hose from the dryer when we kept her in the laundry room.
Although she was trying the first few months, she became a loving part of our family. She loved to take baths with me. Whenever I was in the bathroom, she would holler to be let in the room. She would love to put her paws on the side of the tub and watch the water flow into the tub. When I finished, she always wanted me to get her a little wet.
One of the last memories I have of her was the Sunday before she became sick. She was in the kitty pan using it. Leon decided he had to go at the same time but did not realize that Tigger was already in there. He began to go inside the litter pan when Tigger realized it and tried to get out. When I got there she was half out and Leon was trying to vacate the laundry room. I really miss my girl and know eventually it will get easier.
