Well Sunday I was going to spend a quiet day at home just relaxing. Paul had asked me to go to the woods with him. I must confess that I didn't really want to go... Knowing however that I would not have another day off with my beloved for a few weeks, I seized the moment. Carpe Diem!
Boy was I rewarded! We walked in the hot woods. Paul began to gather and eat blackberries on the way. Once we got to where we were going, we both heard a bleating and crashing coming towards us. Paul yelled, "Amanda, a deer!". I looked back behind me and there was a fawn in front of me. I began taking pictures and then I remembered the camera had a video. Below is the results. After the fawn took off, Paul shared with me that he was bleating back to the fawn and had taken his white hanky off and moved it like a deer's tail. I can't wait for our next adventure!
