Twins

Since I am a twin, I am always interested in news about twins. There must be something in the water because I know so many people having twins recently. I read an interesting article in the Spring from Deer and Deer Hunting magazine about twin deer. There have been many studies in humans and a few on deer about the effect of fraternal twins when they are of different sexes.

This article pointed out that they suspect that the testosterone from the male twin affects the female twin. Usually in these circumstances, the female twin is more masculine and is more likely to be sterile. In humans, the female is usually more of a tom boy. I find this study/s very interesting and wonder what else the two sexes impact while in the womb.

You know, I've heard that, too.
And it's funny... a lady at work has twin grandchildren - a girl and a boy - and wouldn't you know, the little girl is the 'bruiser' and her brother is the tender-hearted softy. Must be something to the studies!
