Well I promised the story of the animals and the Christmas tree. This is how it looks in all red lights. Paul loves it and says it looks like the tree's on fire. This year, Paul decided to have the lights on timer so that sometimes all of them are on (red and blue) and then sometimes just one color. Leon our curious cat one evening was just staring at the tree. As he was staring, the lights flicked to one color lights. Leon was fascinated with how that happened. He kept walking around the tree and staring up.
Paul has the lights set to come at 6:00 p.m. and go off at 10:00 p.m. We, however, often go to bed around 9:00 or 9:30 p.m. The first night the lights were on the timer, it drove Seamus crazy. We were in bed but the lights were still on!! Seamus continued to walk towards the tree and back towards our bedroom. I finally sat up and he was sitting in the threshold of our bedroom. He was moving his head from us in our bed to the Christmas tree lights that were still on. He took him several days to accept that it was all right and the lights would eventually turn off by themselves.
